- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Ronald Stewart generally has bad bedside manners. On the surface, it appears as though he’s a nice man. He’ll smile, ask you how you are, he make even crack a joke, and, though I’m not suggesting he’s not a nice human being, as you visit him over time, you’ll come to experience his condescending and dismissive nature. Don’t dare ask him too many questions or question his work on your body. He typically talks over me, and simply doesn’t have the patience to allow me to complete a thought. The first time I had wisdom teeth removed, the whole process was smooth and painless. Though, he’ll tell you to call him if you need anything, when I did, he was unpleasant over the phone. Very rude. Perhaps he didn’t like the fact that I actually called him. The second time around, the teeth were more challenging to remove, by his own words, and in the process knicked multiple places in my mouth; my tongue, inside my jaw below the gum line as well as in the back of my mouth near the suture site. He also, after suture up the site at the top of my jaw, he seemed, based on my observation, to instead of cutting any extra suture, run what was left through my gum, wrapped it around a nearby tooth and tie it off. Sounds painful? Well, for the next 7 days it was. It’s as though there was the pain from the tooth removal, then the pain of having extra suture running through my gums. Perhaps it was agrgrevating nerves. So, the pain from the knicks in my mouth and the pain from his work, I was in pain that was not managed with the drug he prescribed to me. Of course, he didn’t let me explain this to him, and instead blamed me, asserting that all my problems were as a result of me using orajel on those kicks, which then caused some burning. Which, as I described above, was not the case. Would I recommend seeing Dr. Stewart? Objectively speaking, I would not. But, you may get lucky and have a more pleasant and respectful experience.June 05, 2017by Rićhard Khalil
