  First off let me preface by saying that my rating is closer to a 4.5 than it is a 4 (but not quite a 5). I'm basing this on the following: the procedural work itself, the customer service from Dr. Mukkamala and his staff, and communication. I had both a septoplasty and sinus surgery done. Prior to the operation, Dr. Mukkamala absolutely nailed my diagnosis (I noticed at least one reviewer who didn't agree with their diagnosis). He was very polite, had impeccable bedside manner, clearly knew his stuff, and made sure any questions I had were thoroughly answered. Once the operation was performed, everything went off without a hitch. However, Dr. Mukkamala had a full plate that day, so he didn't have a chance to talk to me about what to expect post-op (one of the reasons I couldn't give it a solid 5 stars). To be fair though, he went to great lengths to keep me informed on what I should expect days and weeks after the operation. He left me a pretty clear printout with instructions on how to deal with any problems that may arise. He even went as far as to provide his after-work contact info for questions or emergencies. While he wasn't available immediately after the procedures, he didn't keep me in dark. Regarding communication, there was a slight (key word: slight) issue with my follow-up appointment date. I didn't find out what day/time I was scheduled to follow up until I proactively called the office myself. It's a good thing I have a pretty flexible job, which allows me to deviate from my schedule at a moment's notice. Otherwise, I would've had a followup appointment on the books without knowing about it and possibly not being able to make it. I got a confirmation call shortly after, but not after I had already made the initial call. Overall though, both Dr. Mukkamala and the staff (especially Tammi and Stephanie) were absolute delights! They're very kind, proficient, professional, and clearly love what they're doing. They'll take great care of you. You won't be disappointed!

  Dr. Mukkamala was incredibly professional, kind, knowledgeable and punctual. We were amazed at how quickly we got in and out of his office. The office staff were also great! I would highly recommend him for your ENT needs.
